I absolutely loved staying here! It felt so homey and comfortable, and the location was perfect, especially being so close to Paia town. The place was beautiful inside and out, and the kitchen seriously had everything you could possibly need. We absolutely loved this place! It is very authentic, nicely decorated, every little detail has been taken care of. Dave the owner is sooo responsive, he has a Gem in this place!
What we loved the most was the hot tub, the cafe walking distance with yoga.
The apartment with the kitchen was very confortable! Great mattress and sheets. very well equipped!

I have been to Maui countless times as my family lives here. This is my first time at Mangolani and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else here on out. We stayed in the three bedroom as a family of six with more than enough room to spare. The decor is thoughtful and feels luxurious yet homey. One of my favorite things was just hanging out on the massive balcony and looking out on the beautiful grounds which deserve their own shoutout as they are absolutely incredible. You get access to beautiful outdoor common spaces such as eating areas, hangout spots, outdoor shower, gazebo and a jacuzzi ready for use. My kids loved finding all the different creatures on the property and playing outside on the fenced in property in general. However best of all is the location. Paia is my favorite place on the island and it was a short drive or even walk away from the main strip. I also feel like Paia gives you the local surf town vibe but is close to jumping on the road to hana or driving less than an hour  to the other popular spots on the island.

Lastly I want to shout out and thank our hosts for being so attentive, friendly and helpful should we have any questions. They went above and beyond with this place and can’t wait to book with them again.

I cannot say enough about the Mangolani Inn and Dave and Epes!! Our family stayed here in April 2026 and it was absolutely amazing! The location is within a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants in Pai’a and another few minutes to the beach - so convenient especially since parking can sometimes get hectic at times. The grounds at Mangolani are beautifully maintained and just gave all of us such a sense of peace…very relaxing and quiet. Our suite was beautifully decorated (with very cool art work), clean, modern, spacious and  comfortable. It also had a full kitchen which was convenient for all the goodies we purchased from Mana Foods (IYKYK). The parking is on property so we never had to worry about that. The jacuzzi was so perfect to hang out and relax in during the evening when it cools down just a little. We also LOVED the convenience of having a washer and dryer right next to our unit. The best was Epes. We were there on Easter Sunday and he left a few eggs and goodies for my daughter he also made leis with her…these personal touches leave such an impact! Icing on the cake was Dave and Epes let our family keep our luggage at the property and shower before our flight even though we’d checked out 4 days prior (for a different area of the island). I will never stay anywhere else. Please do yourself a favor and book a room here and stay for your whole Maui trip. You’ll be so happy you did!! Mahalo Dave and Epes

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mangolani Inn! Dave and the property manager Epes were extremely responsive and helpful. Epes even recommended a local hike that we ended up loving! The property is very private, only has a few rooms, and it feels like a bed-and-breakfast, with beautiful landscaping and a more homey feel, a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the commerical tourist areas. We took advantage of the hot tub on the property every night! One night, we had a Foodland poke feast in the outdoor kitchen area, and my friends and I kept looking around thinking, "I would totally live here!"

The property is walkable to the cute downtown Paia area (though it is a *little* bit uphill on the way back from town; but anyways, it's probably a good idea to walk if you've recently eaten lots of poke, shave ice, and paia fish house in the town :D). It's also a great location for driving around Maui, including Road to Hana, Makawao, and all the little farms upcountry.

We stayed in the room with the ocean view and it was so nice. We had three people (the couch is a pull-out) and there was plenty of space. The room was newly renovated with a clean and modern bathroom and comfortable aesthetic furniture. The AC unit was new, quiet, and dehumidfying. Only thing is that the ocean view room is up a narrow set of stairs, so if mobility is an issue, I wouldn't recommend that particular room.

We stayed at Mangolani Inn for one night,wish we were there longer. It was everything you would look for in a vacation rental. We were greeted when we arrived. Property has a Zen feel, very relaxing. Walkable to town of Paia with shops and restaurants. Room was very clean and had everything you would need including a full kitchen. Decor was A+. The grounds were beautiful. Our stay at Mangolanni was just perfect.
The room was large, super clean and confortable. The house has everything you need during your stay in Paia (several areas to rest, a kitchen, washing machine etc) The communication with Dave was super easy and his team is nice and convenient.

We absolutely loved our stay at Magnolia Inn in Maui! The spacious and clean room offered stunning views, making our getaway even more special. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a fresh lei and some delicious limes and papaya from the yard, such a thoughtful touch! Epes was an incredible host, providing fantastic recommendations for dining and activities nearby. The location was perfect, within walking distance to beautiful beaches and restaurants. A highlight was making our first Hawaiian lei with Epes. He had time in his schedule to fit a little more time with us before our flight back home. it was a truly memorable experience!
